Film Transfer Pricing: 8mm, Super 8, 16mm film 1 – 1000 feet: $0.16/foot 1000+ feet: $0.15/foot There is a $1.50 per reel handling charge on small 50-foot reels as they are spliced together on new 400-foot reels. Splicing charge for broken tape is $1.00 per splice. Add $25 for transfer to two hour DVD. Add $40 for two hours of video on portable hard drive. Full 8mm 3 inch (diameter) reels equals 50 feet of film Full 8mm 5 inch (diameter) reels equals 200 feet of film Full 8mm 7 inch (diameter) reels equals 400 feet of film You can fit approximately 1350 feet of Regular 8mm film onto 1 two-hour DVD. You can fit approximately 1600 feet of Super 8mm film onto 1 two-hour DVD. You can fit approximately 2400 feet of 16mm film onto 1 two-hour DVD.
